OYear 2 SATs exams are held during June of each year. This is an exam for children aged between 6 and 7 as part of the National Curriculum Assessment Programme.
From 2016 the SATs exams are taking a new style and more rigorous to reflect the new National Curriculum.

Monday 11th May to Thursday 14th May
Test consists of Two papers. Paper one focuses on Arithmatics. Paper two tests mathematical fluency, problem-solving and reasoning.
Test consists of two tests for Reading and two tests for Spelling, Grammar and Pounctuation. Paper 1 consists of a selection of texts with questions interspersed. Paper 2 comprises a reading booklet of a selection of passages where children are required to write their answers in a separate booklet.
There are a variety of question types from multiple choice, matching, true/false, constrained and less constrained, questions that prompt short answers or open ended answers and etc
Focuses on Mathematics and English. Classes are held once a week for one hour.
