11 Plus, Year 7 to 9, GCSE and A Level

We provide Tuition for age 8 to 18 year olds. We provide Maths Tuition and English Tuition from Reception onwards to GCSEs in the form of group tuition or individual one to one tuition. We also have Science Tuition from Year 6 onwards to GCSEs. For A Level Tuition, we have Maths Group Tuition, all the other subjects are delivered as one to one tuition. More help here!

Children receive a supervised and supportive environment to complete homework and receive extra guidance in Maths, English and Science topics. We provide STEM learning activities during homework sessions to enhance knowledge and create interest in Maths and Sceince.

GCSE Statistics - For Year 9 and Year 10

We offer GCSE Statistics classes and exam for the student who are in Year 9 and Year 10. You can register for this course and take an additional GCSE subject earlier. Children can take GCSE Statistics with us as we are an Edexcel approved exam centre.

Edexcel Algebra Level 3 Course – (3 UCAS points)

You can take this course in Year 11 or Year 12 and carries 3 UCAS points for the university application. This course will develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of concepts in algebra, and a strong foundation in mathematical techniques. Children can take the exam in our Edexcel approved exam centre.

Our Online Tuition

We offer online tuition in small group classes with maximum of 5 or 6 children in a group. Registered children will have regular progress tests set online every 6 to 8 weeks to assess their improvements while with us.

Our online groups tuition offer Maths and English tuition from Year 3 onwards. Year 3 to Year 5 online tuition are also focused on 11 Plus entrance exam and cover verbal and nonverbal reasoning. We offer online tuition for Maths, English and Science from Year 7 onwards up to GCSE. For A Level we have Maths online tuition in small group lessons.

Our group lessons are designed for one hour per subject. We also provide one to one online tuition for Maths, English and Science for all year groups. For other subjects we may be able to provide online tuition depending on tutor availability.

What we offer?

We offer small group classes with maximum of 6 children in a group. All our children receive free initial assessment before the enrolment. Registered children will have regular progress tests every 6 to 8 weeks to assess their improvements while with us.

We offer group lessons for Year 3 onwards for Maths and English, for Year 6 onwards Maths, Science and English and for A Level, Maths and Science group lessons.

We conduct 11 Plus Tuition in Ilford for verbal reasoning, Non verbal reasoning, Maths and English helping students gain entry for grammar schools and/or selective independent schools. Ark Tuition Centre is an Ofsted registered education provider. Eligible parents can receive use tax free childcare scheme to pay for their child's education with us.

We further have programmes to help children in their SATs exams and GCSE exams. For Sixth Form students we can provide private tuition in core subjects as well as specialists subjects where required. In addition Sixth Form students can make use of our UCAS advise service when applying for University.

We are just 7 minutes walk from Ilford Exchange Mall and Ilford Library.

Our Unique Payment Plan

It is our commitment to parents and to our children, to deliver the best we can. We understand the hardship of parents and we greatly respect the parents' effort in giving their child the best possible opportunities to excel in education. Having this in mind we only charge for the lessons for which the child is present. If the child missed a lesson, we will carry forward the payment. Our only request is to inform us of the absence 24 hours before the lesson commencement. This way the parents hard-earned money is used only for the benefit of the child.

We do not charge for missed lessons. With no fixed term contract, enrolling with us is flexible for children and for parents because our focus is on improving the child. We have helped over thousand children for years with this payment structure and many children have benefitted with our model.

Ark Tuition is an Ofsted Registered Provider. Parents can pay through Childcare Choices which could considerably reduce the fees. Eligible parents can also use the tax-free childcare scheme to make payments, which reduces the cost even further.
