Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all students enrolled at ARK Tuition Centre ("ARK", "we", "us"). By enrolling your child you agree to these terms.

Enrolment

A Standard or Premium place is confirmed once we have received a completed enrolment form and the agreed first payment. Access classes are confirmed when the individual class has been booked and paid. We offer a free initial assessment where appropriate to help identify the right package.

Fees

  • Access: each class must be booked and paid before attendance. Places are subject to availability and no ongoing place is reserved.
  • Standard: fees are charged in four-week blocks in advance and reserve an ongoing weekly group place.
  • Premium: one-to-one tuition is charged at the published hourly rate and paid on the schedule agreed at booking.

All tuition fees are VAT exempt. We accept Tax-Free Childcare payments where the tuition qualifies. Fees are reviewed annually and may be updated for a new academic year.

Cancellation and missed sessions

  • Access classes do not renew automatically. A booked class is non-refundable if the student does not attend.
  • Standard programme withdrawal requires four weeks' written notice unless your enrolment confirmation states otherwise.
  • Premium cancellation and rescheduling terms are confirmed when the regular lesson time is agreed.
  • Sessions missed by the student are not refunded unless ARK confirms otherwise in writing.
  • If ARK cancels a session, a replacement session or credit will be provided.

Conduct

We expect all students to behave respectfully to staff and other students. ARK reserves the right to withdraw a student's place if conduct is persistently disruptive.

Safeguarding

ARK Tuition Centre is Ofsted-registered and maintains a safeguarding policy. All staff hold valid DBS checks. Our full safeguarding policy is available on request and at our safeguarding page.

Liability

ARK's liability is limited to fees paid for the relevant month. We are not liable for indirect losses, including examination results.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be published on this page and communicated to enrolled families.
