What's Covered in Year 6 SATs Preparation
Every topic tested in the KS2 SATs papers, taught systematically with exam technique built in throughout.
Maths — Arithmetic
The Paper 1 arithmetic paper tests calculation speed and accuracy. We drill all four operations, fractions, decimals, percentages, and order of operations under timed conditions.
Maths — Reasoning
Papers 2 and 3 test problem-solving and reasoning. We cover number, ratio, geometry, statistics, and multi-step word problems — teaching pupils how to approach unfamiliar questions.
Reading Comprehension
The KS2 Reading paper tests retrieval, inference, vocabulary, and structure. We teach pupils to read strategically, locate evidence, and answer mark-scheme questions accurately.
SPAG — Grammar & Punctuation
The Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling test covers a broad range of technical language knowledge. We work through every tested grammar topic systematically with targeted practice.
Past Paper Practice
